After having such a spectacular time with Adam Sage at the Riverton High PROM...
Kierra decided to get gutsy and ask Adam to go with her to MORP!!!
It's the end of the year "Girl's Choice" dance, and this year was a western theme.
She bought Adam cookie dough ice-cream (since that's his favorite ;) and an ice-cream scoop and said,
"Here's "the scoop"... Will you go to MORP with me?"
He was excited and of course said Yes! :)
What made it even more fun though was that Kierra's good friend Emma (she's the girl in the back with Kierra... in the hat and blue plaid shirt) decided to ask Tyllor (who is Adam's good friend) to go with her! She and Kierra actually asked both of those cute boys at the same time while they were together at Tyllor's house one night after work. (Tyllor is also the one who was so brave and dressed up in tights to be the messenger that helped Adam ask Kierra to PROM.) :)
AND... being the wonderful mother that I am ;) ;) ...
Kierra asked if I would take the pictures for everyone in the group since no one really likes to pay a fortune for the "not so cute" pictures that you have to wait in line for at the dance!
Sooo.... I told them I would LOVE too!
BUT...I also told them
"You get what you pay for and I don't know what the heck I'm doing as far as the photography goes!
So don't be mad if their not perfect, I'm just a wanna be here and I'll do my best! ;)
But MAN was it fun to do!!!! :)
It actually rained and rained and rained the entire day of the dance and I just had faith and prayed and asked Heavenly Father to please give us just a few short minutes with no rain...just long enough to snap a few pictures anyway! And what do you think happened? :)
We still had a light sprinkle here and there, but just enough of a break just at the right time of the day!

I borrowed the hay bales from Kambriella's Farm Preschool and we just walked next door to Adam's back yard and set up a few props...
I thought the old looking fence was the perfect backdrop without having to go to far...

What fun it has been to enter this new stage of life with teenagers! All of the changes that come are a little freaky at times...;) but so much fun to experience together! Especially when you have such GOOD kids to be experiencing it with!!!
Not only has Kierra been so happy to be dating and having all kinds of fun...but she has been just as happy to listen to and trust in her parents and the guidelines that have been set before her. She knows that she will truly be happy by surrounding herself with good friends and being in good company...
Building relationships with people who help you live what you believe, and make you be a better person when you are around them...people who support you and respect you and WANT to stand beside you in holy places...those are the kinds of friends that Kierra has....and that's ALWAYS the kind of friend that she has been and will always be!!!
