The Gift of Time ~ Christmas 2022

The Gift of Time began this year when we received a letter from Santa telling us that he was sending us to see the Luminaria Christmas lights at Thanksgiving Point! After we were done seeing the lights he had a hotel room reserved for us where we found gifts and treats and more letters waiting for us!

The letter in our room told us that we would be going to have Breakfast with Santa in the Show Barn the next morning, and to wear the new clothes that he left us there too. :)
Dasher and Cupid were outside waiting to see us the next morning at the Show Barn!

The feeling in the Show Barn was magical! There were placemats to color, cookies to decorate, and Santa even set an extra seat at our table that was left empty in honor of Grandma Trickett who passed away this year from brain cancer. She LOVED to decorate coolies, and it was so fun to imagine her there with us in spirit.

We ate our yummy breakfast, and then took our turn getting our pictures taken with Santa. Kesslyn must have been a little nervous, because she froze when he started talking to her! ;)

We got to make out own handmade candy cane ornaments...
…get our faces painted

We played games together, and had a really fun morning.

Another Gift of Time that Santa left was Diamond Art kits!
Clint and I had a special Christmas date planned, and this was the perfect activity to keep the kids busy and enjoying their time together while we were gone. :)
They really enjoyed working on it, and Kesslyn even finished up Gavin's for him because he was taking so long! ;)

Another Gift of Time that Santa gave to our family was a special overnighter to Daniels Summit in Heber City, where we had dinner, sat in a hot tub, stayed the night, and then went snowmobiling the next day! It was a BLAST!!!

And Santa must have saved the best for last because He gave our last Gift of Time of the year to us to go to the Snowed Inn!!! It is our FAVORITE!!! A horse drawn sleigh ride up the mountain where we would find a warm and cozy atmosphere with roaring fires, lights, live music, yummy food, and the BEST hot cider that you will ever have!

Santa, you are THE BEST! You are trying so hard to be like Jesus, and so are we! :)
We LOVE you!!!
Maerry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!!!
