Trickett Family Together in St. George

On December 29th 2021, the entire Trickett family met up in St. George Utah for one last celebration of life and of family, and of being together before our beloved Gerry - wife, mother, grandmother, would move on from this life. We brought a ton of food to feed all 46 people that were there, and some beautiful pink flowers just for Gerry.
There were 2 large houses across the street from each other that everyone stayed in. One house had a pool and a hot tub which was the hub for swimming, games, food, and fun. The cousins all had a ball playing together all day and all night long...Grandpa was a trooper and got into the pool in his clothes, just to spoil those cute little granddaughters...;)
We took an hour away from everyone and met my mom for lunch so that she could see Kierra and her kids that she doesn't get to see very often. It was so nice to see her beautiful smiling face, and feel connected to her too. After all, we CAN'T go to St. George and NOT see my mom!!!
Cherie put together a ton of photos of Gerry's life into a video, and we all sat down together in the family room watching it, along with some smiles and also some tears. Everyone seems to know that Gerry will not be with us much longer, and we are trying to soak in every possible minute together that we can.
I am so grateful for Heavenly Father's plan of happiness and that we KNOW that our family will be together forever through the blessings of the priesthood and the temple.

I LOVE the Temple

Clint and I went to the Oquirrh Temple last night and did endowments together.
We also got to be the witness couple.
I love the temple, it brings so much peace.
I just had to throw this one in there as I'm trying to get caught up on my blog. ;)
Gavin and Kambriella are going to the Timpanogos temple tonight to do baptisms...
I'm so glad they LOVE the temple too!

Christmas 2021

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day was spent with family at home, wrapping last minute gifts, making and eating yummy food, a special visit from Santa (who brought the kids pajamas), and just lots of time together. I didn't get too many pictures on Christmas Day, but I guess that's ok because we were busy having fun and spending time together.
The holidays are always packed with LOTS of time doing fun things together and I LOVE every minute of it. Bringing the family together and strengthening relationships and testimonies are what my mission in life is about. I love my people with all my heart and I'm so glad I get to be with them forever!!!
