Carew Is HOME!!!!!

As we all stood waiting anxiously for the returning missionaries to come around the corner at the airport, we FINALLY saw them!!!
Everyone started cheering, clapping, and screaming so loud and I have never seen so many BIG smiles in my life!!!
Dallin began yelling at the top of his lungs...
"CAREW!!!! IT'S MEEEEE!!!! YOUR FAVORITE BROTHER!!!!!!"
We laughed and hugged and laughed and hugged....
...and hugged and hugged and laughed and hugged... :)
Then I finally let other people have a turn to hug and hug and hug and hug...:)
It was SO fun. I don't really have the words to describe how all of this felt.
I was full of emotions that I have never before experienced and it was THE BEST feeling to have.
My WHOLE family reunited once again!!!
2 years later and everyone is taller and have changed so much...
Each of the kids were excited to welcome their brother home and so we had a poster making party!
All of them were so cute!
(And some were a little more hilarious...;)
But all in all EVERYONE was so happy to have Carew HOME!!!
Sharing that experience with my mom there made it all the more special for me too...
And these two little buddies were right back where they had left off...BEST friends. :)
Carew is such a good brother and has already spent HOURS playing Barbies and watching cartoons and doing WHATEVER his little sister wants him to do !
 He LOVES his sisters!!!
And it was especially fun to see Carew's reaction to Kierra's pregnant belly!
He was pretty much in SHOCK although he already knew about it. :)
And the 3 brothers! Like the 3 Amigos! Except in Italian it is the 3 Fratellos!
They were stepping on their tip toes to see who was the tallest..but Carew still has them beat by a hair! ;)
And Maicen's hair was a lot too!!! And it's still growing! ;)
 Colby... :)
 Tiffany and her family... :)
 LOVE.
Family + Together = LOVE
Carew also said that Grandma made the perfect little Italian style grandma because she is so short and little like the Italian grandmas...:)
 All the grandparents!
 ...and Tammy and her family!
 ...and the brother's again...
Can't you just FEEL the love?? ;)
It was THICK I'm tellin' ya!
 HOME.
He's HOME.
It is such a good feeling and he has grown so much. I am one lucky mama and feel SO blessed.
Thank you Carew for the last 2 years...You did it!!! And you are AMAZING!!!
And I know that the best is yet to come...
Let's do it!

HOCO?

With back to school and the quickly approaching month of September, we also get...HOMECOMING!!!
When Dallin realized that all of his friends had already been asked, or were getting asked, he knew he needed to jump on it and find a fun date!
And although a lot of his closest friends had already been asked, he was excited  to ask Claire Forrest in this "sticky note" fashion...
You got it!
Underneath some of those sticky notes Claire will find letters to figure out just who is behind this madness!!!
It is The One. The Only. Dallin Trickett!
And that girl Claire is one lucky girl! ;) ;)
I guess we'll wait and find out what she says!!! :)

The Wednesday Routine and Police Cars in Italy

Now that we are back home from all of the summer partying, we are trying to get back into a routine of sorts, and with today being Wednesday, I got back into my weekly "Wednesday lunch date" routine with Clint. This is one thing that we always try to make time for because Clint's work is always so busy and demanding of his time, and so when I come during the middle of the week, I can actually get him out of the office for a minute where he can get a change of scenery...looking at my face and listening to Kesslyn's sweet little voice. :)
He always tells me that we are always the highlight of his day when we come. :)

And speaking of work...
We always notice the police cars everywhere we go, and so naturally when we were in Italy, we noticed all of the police vehicles there!
This picture is right outside of the Vatican City...
...and a motorcycle police task force right outside of the Colosseum.
Right after I snapped this picture, they raced off to catch  some people who were illegally selling goods right outside the doors to the tourists.
It was so cool to watch them race away, but within seconds of them leaving, the illegal people were right back to their selling...crazy!
This Polizia car was in Rome parked right in front of the Trevi fountain. I think this guys job was crowd control because I have never seen so many people crammed into such a tight space before!
Then as we followed our tour guide through the streets of Rome looking at historical monuments and buildings, we saw other polizia!
It was so fun to see, although with all of the police wearing their machine guns, I was a little sneaky at snapping my pictures! I didn't want to bring any extra attention to myself...;)
I'm so grateful that Clint has found a career that he enjoys, that he is very good at, and one that has been able to provide for our family and for all of our employees. We have been and continue to be so blessed!
2019 has been another year of expansion and growth with moving into our new facility, acquiring our own graphics business to expand the services we offer to building police cars...and now, we have yet another opportunity for expansion into the new year... Clint will be acquiring an ambulance dealership that will also add to the expansion of services we can provide in the safety vehicle community.
We are excited, we are grateful, and we are continually indebted to our Heavenly Father who has been at the lead of all of this.
Here's looking forward to another great year full of growth and change! And who knows, maybe we will even get to involve Carew in some of these changes since he will be coming home in just 2 DAYS!!!
But there's no telling what the future may bring.
One thing is for certain though...The future is as bright as my faith!

Kambriella is a lucky little girl too with some amazing friends who are sweet and kind and always there for each other. I hope they stay that way until they are all grown and gone.
Could we be so lucky? I love my kids so much and wish some days that I could just push "pause" and stop time right in it's tracks...I can't believe we are already back in school and I miss them already.
And so does Kesslyn!
