We have a sweet little girl that is SO excited for her upcoming birthday! She has even made a paper chain for herself to count down the days until it's here. (One week has never felt so long to a little girl! :)
We also have a sweet little girl who LOVES "making!" She always says, "Mom, can we make?" When really I think she means to say "bake." ;) She loves dumping and mixing and doing it ALL by herself. She actually gets feisty if you try to help her! (We are working on that though. ;)Also, for part of our Memorial Day celebrations we did some fun things with our family, like going to the cabin! We also changed a flat tire on Carew's car on the way home, and took turns going for rides on the side by side.
Kambriella was the lucky one that got the ride to the gas station AND a treat on her ride! :)
Carew was lucky to get to bring his girlfriend Kara with us, and they packed a picnic to take with them on their ride. :)
Riding the side by side is a lot of fun, but you ALWAYS end up getting super dirty!

Those dusty country roads are definitely full of dirt!
We spent a little time shooting the guns for target practice, and also the bows and arrows.

We didn't do too hot this time though. So, I guess we just need to keep practicing!
And here is my "beautiful" dirt covered profile after my turn on the side by side! It was definitely an adventure ride getting stung by a hornet and also something else that I never could figure out. But that's the risk you take being in the great outdoors! :)

Our sabbath day though we spent at home, and kept it sacred.
We had home church together with my mom before she had to leave to go back to Mesquite. My boys were able to bless and pass the sacrament to my mom who hasn't been able to have it in a while with no priesthood holder there with her. It made her really happy. :)
We also had a family zoom call, played games together, and Kesslyn made her specialty "sunshine drink!"
(That's what she calls it. :)
Ice water with 2 straws and 3 apple slices (because I didn't have any lemons. ;)
I am grateful for all the good in my life, all the people that I love, all the experiences that we are having together, and that God knows me so well to give me exactly what I need to learn and to grow closer to Him everyday.
