I Love Conference!

Tomorrow is the day that I have been looking forward to and preparing for...
the 184th General Conference of
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I love how when we really listen to the words of  our beloved prophet, apostles, and other church leaders, it is not only the words that they are saying that we can hear,
but it is also the words that the Spirit delivers deep into our hearts that we feel,
and leave everlasting impressions upon us...

I love how my home fills with a special spirit of peace and love.
I love how no matter what is going on in my life, there is always a sense of clarity and direction for me and my family...and an abundance of reassurance that God is there and that He knows me and that He loves me.

I. Love. Conference.
Amen. :)

Some Things To Always Remember.

I was looking through my pictures the other day and realized that I LOVE memories!

I realized that my pictures are a glimpse of things that trigger so many emotions...feelings connected to so many people and places that mean so much to me...so many that I NEVER want to forget...

So, here are some "Glimpses of Gratitude."
(Just a few things I always want to remember...:)

The love of  family is strong.
Mothers and Fathers, Aunts and Uncles, Grandmas and Grandpas...
It really does take a village to raise a child.

Aunt Tammy, Kierra, Aunt Cherie, and Aunt Laura

Kierra and Mommy :)

Life is a ride! Enjoy each and every moment!
Whether you are all the way at the top of the ride and enjoying the view,
or struggling down at the bottom just trying to figure out which way is up...
Enjoy each moment ~ you never know when the ride will be over! :)

Dad and Mom
(Grandpa and Grandma Panter)

Enjoy the crazy moments when you gather all the children for family prayer and then NO ONE wants to get out of your bed! Even when you are soooooo tired and just want some SLEEP!!! Don't ever wish away the moments when EVERYONE is happy, giggling, and want to be RIGHT by you!!!:)

Gavin the Great, Kierra the Kind, Kambriella "she's a keeper!",
Dallin the Delightful, and Carew the Cutie Pie :)

Date Nights!!!!!
Late nights, loving nights, cuddling under the starry nights!
One Republic Outdoor Concert Nights!
Yeah Baby! ;)

...and friends who might as well be sisters...:)
Ooo I love them.

Warm summer afternoons spent with friends doing things that leave you reflecting on eternity...

Kierra, Gavin, Susette, Kambriella, and Dallin

Being with my children and seeing our dearly beloved prophet Face to Face!
President Thomas S. Monson
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
He. Is. Awesome.  :)

Coming home early from our family vacation after hearing the sad news of my sweet dad passing away...only to find THIS...
The Spirit testifies of truth and love. That was what I felt when I saw this. :)

Cuddling with a sleeping child while getting love mugs from my sister Cynthia who lives far, far, away in Alaska...I seriously wanted to push pause on time for that moment...so glad to have it in a picture:)

Cynthia, Susette, and Kambriella

Spending an entire day with my angel mom on my birthday. Happy Birthday to me!!! Enough said. :)

Nila and Susette

Impromptu lunch dates with people you love...
My sister Felicia, "Can you meet right now?"
Me, "Absolutely!!!"

My sisters Tiffany and Felicia, me, and my mom :)

A summer filled with splashes and laughter out by the pool!
Building memories truly does mean EVERYTHING to me...
...and giggles and cuddles in the hammock too...:)

Our first successful garden! :)
It only took 20 years of marriage and a sweet neighbor to show me how!
(And Kierra the ever faithful "watering girl"...she ended up doing this for one of her young women projects. They are supposed to be 10 hours, but I'm sure it was more like 100! ;)

(Now we just can't wait to see our 1 pumpkin on carving day! :)

Romantical Kisses everywhere I go!!! :)
(Especially in Hawaii on my 20th anniversary!)
(More on that trip to come...)

When we were driving home from Clint's mom's house a few weeks ago,
Kambriella was being quite grumpy as she was VERY tired!...she was complaining about how she wanted to trade me seats in the car because I had the BEST seat!
Kambriella said,

"Mommy is so lucky! She gets the best seat ever!
She gets to hold daddy's hand...stare at daddy the whole time...
and KISS HIM AT THE RED LIGHTS!!!"

The car erupted with laughter!!!
And once again I truly did feel Soooo blessed AND like the luckiest girl on earth!!!

Like I said before...these are just a few of my "Glimpses of Gratitude"...
I'm so grateful for so many things...
...and there are so many things I NEVER want to forget!!!
