Baptism...at Home & In Hawaii

This little angel is preparing to be baptized in a few months! :)
After helping me do some service all morning long, we went home and got cleaned up for getting Kesslyn's baptism pictures taken!!!
Aunt Cherie is SO kind and talented, and we are so grateful that she is willing to share her talent with us. It was SO fun watching her work her magic...;)
Kesslyn is so beautiful inside and out, and Cherie has a way of expressing both. Thank you Cherie! We love you!
(Kesslyn was snoring on my bed with her stuffed animal Cinnamon Roll across her eyes at the end of the night. That girl was exhausted!
My sweet kiddos hiked to the Pill Box yesterday as well...
What an adventure and what a view!
But my favorite thing that they did yesterday....
...was to keep their appointment with the Lord...
They were able to go to the Laie Temple and perform baptisms for the dead.
Gavin was able to baptize his sisters, and form yet another bond of love between siblings that helps solidify our eternal family's loving relationships.
I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and that families can be together forever through our Heavenly Father's loving plan of happiness.
Way to top off an amazing summer adventure in Hawaii kids!
Keep these memories and feelings in your heart always!

Fun Summer Days

Yesterday was a fun day! Kesslyn and I picked up Clint for a lunch date, and we went and got Chik fil A and took it to the Murray park for a picnic. ;) It was a really beautiful afternoon, perfect for a picnic!
After that, Kesslyn and I ran some errands, including shopping for trek, and picking up our side of bee from Spanish Fork. It was a long time in the car, and as soon as we got home neither one of us wanted to go inside. We wanted to stay outside in the fresh air, so Kesslyn invited me to do sidewalk chalk with her! It was so fun! ;)
Kesslyn drew some amazing pictures, and I decorated a "29!" since Clint and I are celebrating our 29th anniversary this weekend!
After dinner and watching a Chosen movie, I pulled out Kesslyn's wiggly tooth!
She was SOOOO happy that I did it for her (although I really do not like doing that!).
It was really needing to come out, and I think it feels much better for her now. ;)
Gavin and Kambriella are of course, STILL having the time of their lives with their sister spending their summer in Hawaii! I don't know the names of all these beautiful places that they are visiting, I just know that they are beautiful!

I LOVE these pictures of Kambriella and Kierra making these flower crowns together. ;)
They sent some videos while they were doing it, and you could hear the Hawaiian music playing in the background...;)
This was Kierra's birthday gift to her little sister, and I thought it was such a thoughtful gift!

Aren't they SO pretty??

And I DO know the name of this place where they were able to go snorkeling...Shark's Cove! Clint and I went snorkeling here when we were in Hawaii for our 20th anniversary!

My cute beach boy...;)
My sweet grandkids!!!! ;)

Grow Everyday

It's summer and I love waking up each morning with a little more flexible schedule since I don't have to be home to get kids off to school.
I love taking a step out the front door and heading off in whatever direction I choose that day, to run and run. I love seeing the beautiful things out in nature that God has given to us, and I love feeling so connected to my Maker as I surround myself with His creations. I always feel like He is telling me "Good morning my beautiful daughter! I hope you feel so loved today!"
I do!
I feel so loved, and full of gratitude for this experience of life in mortality where we get to learn and grow, every single day.

Moments That Make Up Our Forever

Over the weekend there were quite a few highlights. I stopped into Jimmy's Floral in Bountiful to see my beautiful little sister who is now working there, and just completed her first week of working there! I am SO proud of you Tiffany! We went and did some major work at the cabin, but still have so much more to do...
Clint also spoke in sacrament meeting and did a wonderful job. I told him that I already love him so much, but when he shares his testimony with me, he just gets cuter and cuter. ;)
We also visited with my sister in law Cherie and her husband Blake when we took Eila home.
It was a really good weekend.
Yesterday was a fun day as well! Kesslyn and I got to be partners at hosting the 11th Hole at the Ogden Country Club during the Young Chevrolet's annual golf tournament that Clint always sponsors and plays in. We met some really nice people and Clint and Colby got to golf together. We had fun with putting on the "marshmallow long drive" competition. We gave people a marshmallow and a tee and got to see who could hit it the farthest. Kesslyn said she was my "assistant" and was so sweet handing out the tees to everyone and helping to pick up all of the marshmallows at the end. ;) She even earned $20 bucks for all of her hard work.
She also got to sit and talk to Dallin on Facetime while he was having his p-day in Brazil.
It was another really good day. ;)
After our long day on the golf course, we ended up back at work just for a few hours before we headed to Carew and Kara's new house! We took some Chinese take-out for dinner, and gave them a little house warming gift. We really enjoyed sitting at the dinner table together and just catching up. They are so cute together, and I am so happy for them that they are at this phase of life where they are in their own home, and starting their little family. I cannot wait to meet little baby boy!
We ate dinner, took a tour of their home, and played a little game. We had a scripture and a prayer together, and then left them to try to get some sleep before another bust day tomorrow.
Their little place is so nice because they live right on the end, with no one next to them where they have a beautiful view, and no direct backyard neighbor's either because there will be a park there instead.
Congratulations Carew and Kara! We are so proud of you! Not only for this fun step in your journey, but for the kind of life that you are choosing to lead in living and loving the gospel, and preparing to teach it to your own family too. We LOVE YOU!
And Kierra, thank you once again for not only hosting your two teenage siblings for almost 3 weeks, but for sharing all of the fun adventures you are having through these pictures with me! :)
Have you ever seen so many delectable and delicious varieties of shave ice in your life????
I love how much they love Easton, and how they are storming Waikiki with him too...;)
So many adventures with the culture and the food...
and the Menehune and your own little people too...Ahhh! I just LOVE them!
These are the memories that summer was made for, and these are the moments that make up our forever...I am so grateful for this sweet family of mine!

Completing the Cousin's Bucket List

The last few days we had our little cousin Eila over were so much fun and FILLED to the max!
These two little sweetie's had their bucket lists put up on the fridge, and checked off the boxes one by one, and I'm happy to say that we completed them ALL, and then some! ;)
On Thursday morning I told the girls I had a special activity that we were going to do that day. It wasn't on their bucket list, but it would be one of the most special things that they could do together...
Go to the Temple!
That's right! The beautiful Saratoga Springs Temple is completed and open for the public to come and tour before it will be dedicated in September.
I loved riding the golf cart over to the church where we listened to some instructions about temples, and then putting on the white shoe coverings and walking quietly through each room, answering questions and teaching these angels about making and keeping covenants.
They LOVED looking in the mirrors that seem to go on for forever in the sealing rooms, and then sitting in the big comfy chairs in the celestial room. They both said that the celestial room was their favorite. I know they could feel Heavenly Father's love for them while we were there.
We are so blessed to live in this land surrounded by SO  MANY temples!!! What a gift.
As we drove away, we talked about all of the fun things still left to do in the next few days, and then we headed straight to McDonald's for some lunch that we took with us to the Wardle Fields Park.
They ate their lunch and their milkshakes and had a ball running through the water and playing on the playground.
On Friday the girls went to activity days together!
Kesslyn LOVES going to activity days, and so to be able to bring her cousin with her to something that she loves so much was SO special!
They tie dyed t-shirts...
...and made some Shrinky dinks..
I needed to run some errands and had to stop at work, so of course the girls HAD to try some Frazil's from the break room! ;)
We also went to Subway for lunch with Clint...
The girls had a great time sitting in the massage chair together, and running around and giggling everywhere they would go. ;)
Kesslyn said they did NOT want to leave, and they each had 5 Frazil's!
I think it was a little girls dream, and Clint seemed to love having them there as much as they loved being there. ;)
They even made homemade slushies with the slushy machine when they got home!
They watched a movie, they played games, and they laughed and laughed until their tummies were sore while they were playing Twister! ;)
I had a ball watching these two.
And while they did have a couple of times where they got frustrated at each other, I told them that was to be expected of two little girls who would spend SO much time together,  AND stay up late every night and not get very much sleep. ;) I told them that when they apologized and forgave each other, that they were actually helping to make each other better and stronger people. It was them learning together what Jesus wants them to be like. They seemed ok with that. ;)
On Saturday we woke up early and went to the cabin. I didn't get any pictures there, but the girls had a fun time playing while Clint, his dad, and Marla were all there helping us get some work done.
When we got back home, we went to pizza for dinner, and then the girls said they had one last thing on their bucket list that they needed to do...Their MYSTERY activity!
They told each other that they would think of something to do that was NOT on the list and surprise each other. They are SO CUTE!!!
They decided they wanted to pack up and go back to the splash pad to have a tea party there, and play long into the night. We went, and they played, and had their tea party. Finally at about 9:30 I convinced them that it was time to go home and get showered so we could be ready for Sunday.
What an adventure.
What a fun time making lasting memories for these two little cousins. I hope and pray that these two little girls will continue to grow in love and Christ like attributes that they can learn from each other, and continue to be each others biggest fan. Thank you Kesslyn and Eila for letting me be a part of all of your adventures!
I love you both so much!!!
STILL having a blast!!!!
I LOVE my peeps in Hawaii!!
