3 White Dresses

Saturday was so much fun with all 3 of my girls! :)
We went shopping together and tried on pretty white dresses...
Kierra tried on temple dresses, and Kambriella tried on baptism dresses...
Kesslyn watched them and played with the toys on the floor. :)

When I found out that this summer would be the one that Kierra would be getting married in, I naturally pictured her and Kambriella both in the month of June participating in special saving ordinances that were important to each of them in their lives at this time.
But then, I thought of sweet little Kesslyn...
what if we put her in her blessing dress and took a picture of all of my girls making our very own
 "3 White Dresses" picture?...
The minute I imagined it I just KNEW that we had to make this happen! And so we are!!!
(Through the help of my amazingly talented and sweet sister~in~law Cherie. :)

After we tried on some of the dresses we took a little walk across the street for a lunch break at Zupa's.

We ate our yummy food and practiced showing Kesslyn how to make fishy lips :)

Then we just begged and begged for her to give us kissies...Kissy Kessy ;);)
Then she started handing out kisses right and left and I loved it. :)
 Awe...sweet Sissy! Kesslyn LOVES Kierra!!!
After we finished up our lunch little Kesslyn was so tired and ready for a nap, so we drove home and put her in her bed and left her home with the brothers and headed back out to do a little more shopping...this time at the mall! But not before Kierra and Kambriella took a little nap of their own in the car...
It makes my heart soooo happy to see how much these sisters love each other and I just cherish every single little interaction that we get with all of them together...this time is completely priceless to me!
We went to a store called "BLISS" in the mall where Kambriella found 7 different dresses to try on! They had so many cute little white dresses and Kambriella was in heaven trying so many on! I thought it was very cute how all of the other girls that were in the store trying on PROM dresses would stop and admire Kambriella when she would come out and take a look in the mirror...Kierra would take her picture in each dress that she tried on and then compliment her before she would head back to try the next one on...
I KNOW that sweet little angel felt just like a princess trying on all of the dresses!
Kierra also had fun looking around and getting ideas for bride's maids dresses too!!!
We headed home after our stop at the mall so that Kierra could get back home to Provo to do her homework and grocery shopping.
We hugged and loved her and said our goodbye's and then I was fortunate enough to get a date night with my sweetie!
Only 5 more days till our trip to the Virgin Islands!!!
But REMEMBER,
I'm NOT counting!!!!! :)  :)  :)

Serve Others...and Eat Cookies :)

"The happiest people I know are those who lose themselves in the service of others."

 ~ Gordon B. Hinkley
Kambriella is one of my greatest examples of service and love... no wonder why she's always so happy!!! 💖

The perfect treat with the perfect little sisters...
Remember...all you need is a Cookie and a Kiss! ;)

FLY Like An Eagle

 IT'S OFFICIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAREW JAMES TRICKETT IS AN EAGLE SCOUT!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):)
We had the most awesome night at the Eagle Court of Honor for Carew and 5 of his friends from our ward!
Family and friends whom we love came out to support Carew...
and the boys decided to get themselves the comfy couches from the foyer to sit on since THEY were the guests of honor! ;) (Pierce and Carew)
Left to right: Hunter, Carew, Pierce, Clark, Jaxson, and Larsen
6 EAGLE SCOUTS!!!
 Awards to be handed out...
 Desserts to be shared...
Saluting the flag during opening ceremonies...
Dallin and Gavin had the privilege of helping with the flag ceremony for the Court of Honor.
I was so happy that these sweet boys got to be a part of their brother's special accomplishment!
This Eagle was also a guest of honor at the Court. His name was Freedom.
Kesslyn sat with my sister Tiffany all through the program and I chuckled to hear her laughing so much at the bird! She loved it! (And I know that the people all around her loved it too!:)
Being close to the Eagle was part of their "bravery test"...
...and Carew was bar far the bravest...
...especially since Freedom pecked right at his arm!!!
It made everyone laugh...ESPECIALLY Carew!!! :)
This was kind of like a "Payday" for the parents...all of our hard work FINALLY paying off! :)
 SUCH a good feeling!!!

I was awarded the "Mother's Pin"
And Clint was awarded the "Father's Pin"
And rightly enough, Grandpa Trickett was awarded the "Mentor Pin." Carew really honored his grandpa with the things he said to him. I know he really feels his love for him and looks up to him as well.
(It made tears come to his eyes and it was so sweet!)
It was a very tender, sweet moment... :)
THIS is one happy group of people, can you tell??
Our boys also honored their scout Master who was finally released after 16 years of service. They presented him with this flag and a permanent flag pole for his yard to fly the flag on...
another touching moment.
We also had the Mormon Battalion come and share a few thoughts with the boys. When he finished, the mothers were able to present these amazing slides to the boys...

We had displays of each of the boys Eagle Projects there for everyone to see...
Carew gathered over 1500 pounds of food for the Utah Food Bank and then took 10 people with him there to provide service for them. He did a  GREAT job and is learning to be a leader!
Carew had friends come to support him...and some cute ones at that! ;)
This is Kate and Kylie Rich. Twin sisters and both friends of Carew...although I think he likes Kate a little MORE than just a friend. :) He is also taking her to PROM in a few weeks!
Also , Austin from his track team came to support Carew which I thought was so sweet of him!
I'm so grateful that my kids all have such GOOD GOOD friends!
We have some amazing people in our lives who help us and support us and help us raise our children...
I love this family of mine and can't imagine doing this life without them...We NEED each other!!!
 THE EAGLE PIN
 THE EAGLE SCARF.

Carew, you have received the highest ranking award of Eagle Scout along with some of your best of friends, but remember..you never could have accomplished this alone...
With leaders, teachers, family and friends, coaches, teammates, and parents supporting you on every side, you were able to accomplish yet another important goal in your life.
And honestly, this is just the beginning of so many great things that lie ahead...
Carew, thank you for choosing the path that wasn't necessarily the easiest, but the one that went straight up hill leading to success. I'm so proud of you and love you so much and remember...BE GRATEFUL, give back, and now spread those wings and FLY!

Tennis Season Is Here

Spring is on it's way which means so is Tennis Season at Riverton High!
And THIS is how we do it!!!
We load up the kid and some toys and snacks and follow Carew all over the valley to whatever school he may be meeting at. We watch and cheer and soak up the sun (and usually the wind :).
The kids go back and forth from watching and cheering to running and playing, and I get to watch all of the fun in between. I just always hope that they are not too much of a distraction for their brother!

I get a kick out of whatever these silly kids may be up to...especially pressing their noses up to the fence :)
Carew getting ready to serve the ball...
He actually won this singles match against Corner Canyon High School!
Way to go Carew!!! :)

Learning To Pray

This sweet baby girl is trying sooo hard to learn how to pray. :)
She's trying sooo hard to learn how to be obedient and reverent...
You can just see the determination on her little face! ~Trying to fold her arms, close her eyes, and bow her head...all while NOT dropping her baby doll shoes that she was playing with!!!
Oh how I LOVE this little angel baby!

AND I love how she is still trying to do all of this and keep one eye on me to see if I"M being reverent too!!!
LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
