The Cross E Ranch Miracle

This year we found another new live nativity that Tiffany and Colby told us about...The Cross E Ranch!
They had the cutest mini horses with reindeer antlers on, and cute baby goats dressed up in their pajamas! We enjoyed this night with our family and even had some yummy apple cider donuts and hot chocolate.
We even witnessed a small miracle that night as we met a man who had lost his wedding ring near the restrooms after washing his hands and shaking them off. The ring went flying out into the night and he could not find it. Our family joined in the search (and said a prayer to help him find it), and after searching in, around, and under the outhouses, and walking around the entire gravel area, we decided to look out on the other side of the fence where the ground was covered in rocks.
Sure enough, there was a tiny reflection of light on a rock from the light we shone from our cell phones! He was SO grateful we helped him find it! And we enjoyed that much more of the true spirit of Christmas by helping him out. It was a wonderful night!

Service at Christmas

Service is good to give anytime of year, but here are just a few things that we did...
1) A special Christmas gift and lesson for the relief society sisters! Jesus AND cinnamon rolls! ;)
2) Helping Anne (a widow in our ward) put up her Christmas village!
3) setting up a new bedroom for Maggi who had back surgery just before Christmas.
4) Decorating Christmas trees for Maggi who had to go BACK to the hospital.
5) Taking a picture and sharing it with a cute couple that I happened to se with him down on one knee in the parking lot of the ER when I went to visit Maggi in the hospital!
These things make each day meaningful, and I'm grateful to be able to serve!

Kurt Bestor TOGETHER

This past Christmas Clint and I took his mom and dad, and sister Laura and her husband Kevin to the Kurt Bestor Christmas concert. It is one of their favorites, AND it was Laura's birthday, AND we knew that this would be the last time we would be able to go to this concert together.
Gerry LOVED it.
These pictures are some of my favorites because they show her really happy... being Gerry.
We miss and love you Gerry!

Kambriella is a 7TH Grade SBO

Kambriella has been a 7th Grade SBO (student body officer) this year and has LOVED being involved in all of the fun! Kambriella is a happy and fun person that everyone loves to be around...especially her family! We love you Kambriella!!!

Live Nativity

Live Nativities are one of my favorite ways to ring in the holidays. We went to the one in Alpine and took our friends the Butlers with us. Seeing the animals and picturing what life may have been like long ago helps me eel close to my Savior. I LOVE Christmas!!!
