Easter Into Spring Break 2022

This year we celebrated Easter both at home and in California. We took the whole family on a vacation (except for Riley who had to work, and Dallin who is still serving his mission in Brazil) for 10 fun filled days!

We spent our first night in Mesquite where we could visit my mom, and play in the pool of course. ;)

We stayed in our time share Welks Resort in Carlsbad...and the Easter Bunny was still able to find us all the way out there!!!

We had fun relaxing at the place, and then running off on daily adventures!
We went to California Adventure!
Our favorite was the Guardians of the Galaxy ride!!!
We went on the Incredi-coaster!

We saw LOTS of Marvel super heroes!

We even enjoyed treats (of course!;)

We played and played all day long and into the night.

We went to the Newport Beach temple and did Baptisms there...

Kesslyn and I enjoyed the grounds while everyone was inside.
We invited our friends the Affleck's to join us at the temple since we knew that they would be in California for Spring Break too!
It was fun to see them there. :)

We played at the beach all day after that!

Then, Kierra and her kids flew in to join in on the fun!
We went to the San Diego Zoo!

Santa himself was actually vacationing there the same day as us and we felt SOOOO lucky to get to see him!!! :)

We also went to Disneyland!

We went to the San Diego temple too!!!
(Did I mention that we LOVE to go to the temple??:)

We visited the Mormon Battalion museum and enjoyed our visit there, and some authentic Mexican food for our lunch down in Old Town San Diego.

On our way back to Utah we stopped again to see my mom!
We played at the playground which was a good rest for getting our wiggles out from riding in the car!

Kierra and her kids actually came home with us so that she could be there for her friend Emma's  wedding that she was going to be a bride's maid for!

We played some more, and even had a girls night out to the Olive Garden for dinner!
It's not very often that I get to be together with just my girls, so we took advantage of the opportunity and loved being together.

I am so grateful for these good times together with family. I feel so blessed to be able to have these kinds of adventures, and to make these wonderful memories!!!

I Love to See the Temple

It's been a summer of temples!
We feel so blessed to live so close to so many beautiful temples where we can go and be in Heavenly Father's house, feel His love, and to give service to help our brothers and sisters too.
Draper, Brazil, Oquirrh Mountain, Jordan River, Ogden, Salt Lake, Provo, San Diego, Newport Beach, and Palmyra just to name a few!!!
WW LOVE TO SEE THE TEMPLES!!!

Tennis - State & Awards Banquet

Gavin made the varsity tennis team during his Sophomore year and has been loving it!
This particular match during the season was super cool because the opponents that Gavin and his buddy Ashton played were named  Dallin and Crew...almost as if he was playing his brothers!
Gavin and Ashton had a great year and made it to State!

They played hard and learned a LOT. They are excited to try again next year!

Not only was it fun making it to state, but doing it with one of your best friends right along side you made it even better!
Way to go boys!
The team was honored at the end of the year awards banquet.
Gavin was awarded his varsity letter, the most improved, and the sexiest legs awards.
(He must take after his mom:)

We love you and are so proud of you Gavin!
Keep working hard in all you do!

Playing Soccer

Kambriella has found a new love...
SOCCER!!!
She has played 2 seasons now with the same team and is loving it.
The first season they didn't win a single game until the very last game.
But this year, they are undefeated! 5-0! I think they have figured out how to play with confidence, be aggressive, and to play as a team.
I am so proud of Kambriella not only for her awesome work out on the field, but for her amazing spirit that blesses our family.
I love you Kambriella!
