Dallin Is Home! Homecoming and Off to BYU

On Friday, August 25th, 2023, Dallin returned home after serving his mission for two years in Curitiba Brazil!

It was so fun anticipating his return, and all of the preparation that went into the day.

I loved that some of the family was able to come to the airport with us to welcome him home!

DALLIN IS HOME!!!!!!!!!

And the Brothers are reunited! ;)

Ironically, it was on the last travel day that Dallin's suitcase FINALLY busted! ;)

And EVERYONE is just so happy he's home!

Sweet Kesslyn started to cry because "everyone was hogging Dallin!" So, sweet Dallin scooped her right up and gave her the love that she needed. :)

After lots of pictures and LOTS of hugs, we said goodbye to the extended family and headed out for some food!

My heart was just so full of gratitude for my sweet family and all that God does for us. Seeing everyone together just made me smile!

Thank goodness In-N-Out is open until 2:00am!!!

I think it was about 2:00 am by the time we got back to the house!

Dallin handed out souvenirs, and arm wrestling matches began!

Dallin finally got to see his new Tesla that he found on line. We had it waiting here for him, so of course the kids all had to go for a drive in it and listen to some really loud tunes! ;)

Fast forward 2 days and now it is Sunday, August 27th! Dallin's Homecoming Day!

We taped up his welcome posters for everyone to see.

He gave a wonderful talk and shared some really cool mission experiences along with his testimony.

WE ARE SO GLAD TO HAVE YOU HOME!!!!

The day after Dallin's homecoming we set out to go shopping for EVERYTHING  he would need for leaving home and heading to BYU!!!

It was quick, but we did it! One week after he was home, he was off to school! :)

He lived in these apartments with some amazing friends!
