Carew and Kara's Wedding Dinner

On June 4th, 2021 we had the most beautiful wedding dinner for the two sweetest love birds!
Kara Johansen and Carew Trickett were only hours away from tying the knot!
We put up some beautiful pictures of them and the Payson temple that they would be sealed in!
Just added little "wedding touches" to an already beautiful venue!
Everyone was so happy for these two...even Kesslyn, if you can't tell. ;)
I felt very honored and special to get to share the head table with the bride and groom. :)
Jeff and Michelle are Kara's parents, and we feel so grateful and blessed to have such wonderful people for Carew to call parents too.
Our family has really lucked out in the "getting good in-laws" department! ;)
The dinner was held just outside Archibald's restaurant at Gardener Village and was so beautiful!
We had an Italian pasta bar which was just what Kara and Carew were hoping for!
Salad and pasta with chicken parmesan and alfredo or marinara sauces...
…delicious rolls and veggies...
…and CHEESCAKE for dessert! YUM!
The food was delicious for sure, but the BEST part of any family gathering is always the PEOPLE.

Catching Up

Hello, and how have you been?
It's been a whole 4 months since I have updated my blog, and I have had so many amazing things happen in our family's life that I am ready to get caught up!
I am not sure exactly how I got so far behind, but I know that most of the reason is because of how often we were not at home this summer. I don't usually blog while I am away, and being gone so often meant not being home in front of my computer to blog!
Just this last week I sent my missionary son Dallin off on his mission, then left the very next day to take the other kiddos on a little fall break excursion to Bryce Canyon (which is where these pictures were taken). I have seen time after time, and day after day just how quickly time passes, and how fleeting all of the special little day to day moments in life keep passing, and I always try my very hardest to hold on to all of those memories, and keep close all of the important things that make up my family.
My family is everything to me, and recording all of the special times strengthens my testimony of eternal families, and hopefully builds up my family that reads about it as well.
So, here I go!
I am going to try my best to do a quick "catch up" session with multiple posts a day until I'm ALL caught up! It might take me forever, but I'm bound and determined, and there's no time like the present to get it done, right? :)
Here's to ALL of the summer fun!
Ready? Set? Go!!!!

Graduation Day! ~ From High School, Middle School, and Elementary Too!

Dallin Clint Trickett
Senior and graduate from Riverton High School 2021!
And in Dallin's fashion, looking mighty cool as he prepares to head off to the graduation ceremony!
We felt so blessed this year to have an actual graduation after there wasn't one last year from the world wide pandemic!
Not only did we "have one" …but it was amazing!
Dallin even got to take part in a very special way because of him being a student body officer.
He got to sit up front on the main stage and take turns calling out names of the graduates to come up for their diploma!
Dallin, you did it!!!
We are so proud of you!!!
After the ceremony we took lots of pictures...
…and more pictures...
XOXOXO
Dallin, Olivia Dibble, and Quinn
Best buddies since elementary school!

Dallin chose to go to Joe's Crab Shack for his celebratory lunch!
With BFF Jordyn Pearson, of course. ;)
Graduation Day was also the last day of school for the other kids as well!
It was the 6th Grade "clap out" for Kambriella since she is moving on to middle school!
There was lots of pictures and tears, and silly string EVERYWHERE!!!
Kambriella got it the worst, but I think she was ok with that/ ;)
There are lots of good friends! Some staying close by, and Emrey moving to a different school...

Kesslyn finished Kindergarten and had a great year at the school with her sissy!
April and I took the girls out for ice cream and fries to celebrate too.
And sweet Gavin of course had an awesome year too, and finished off life at the middle school!
It's on to high school for these kids right here!
All of these friends spent the rest of the day together as well, celebrating and kicking off summer!
One fun tradition we have is to reenact the preschool graduation picture we have of this Fabulous 5!
So, here it is at the Middle School Graduation stage!
Here is the original photograph!
