Reasons to Celebrate

Some highlights of our great weekend were:
Hearing from and seeing pictures of our favorite missionary, Elder Trickett over in the Dominican Republic!
You can see he is fitting right in with all of his little brothers and sisters! :)

Gavin is experiencing the REAL meaning of joy as he was able to have his first 2 baptisms on Sunday! Charles and Delia were baptized and so happy to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ.

On Friday night we went to our ward campout where Clint played in the cornhole tournament, and ended up winning first place with his partner Brian Aguayo! It was fun to watch, and we were so happy that Brian was there! I think it was the first ward activity he has ever been to. ;)

Kesslyn had a blast too, and even went up (ok, she got pulled up) to sing 'It's a Party In the U.S.A." karaoke style!

Clint's 1st place trophy, and Kesslyn's gift card. :)
We also did a Costco run for Carew and Kara....
Such a good feeling of self reliance and preparedness when the cupboards are full!
We saw pictures and updates of Kierra and Riley's family. Hayden is getting SO BIG already sporting 6 month clothes at only 6 weeks old!
And last night for Family Home Evening, we had a picnic dinner around the T.V. and watched President Russell M. Nelson's 100th Birthday celebration! What an amazing prophet of God!
We love you President Nelson, and we Thank Thee, oh God, for our loving prophet.
We lit the candles and sang happy birthday with the rest of the world that was participating...
President Nelson is the 17th president of the restored church, a wonderfully kind and wise human being, AND the oldest prophet we've had. It's amazing what the Lord can do with his humble and willing servants. Let's all try to be like him!
