An Amazing FULL Weekend!

Last weekend was a great one! After having my mom in town for Easter week, it was time for her to get ready to go home. We went out on a family dinner date to the Olive Garden to gather one last time before mom headed back to Mesquite.
My mom and sister Tiffany came  to get pedicures with me on the way out of town too!
This is one of my mom's very favorite things to do when she comes now too! :)
On Friday, I was also able to throw a farewell party for a cute girl in my ward who is leaving on a mission! Ellie Kidd used to be one of my young women years ago, and she was also in my temple prep class.
Ellie and her mom Katie have also been ministering to me for years, and I have grown to love them so much.
Ellie is heading off to Nebraska! Good luck Sister Kidd!

Ellie was excited when she found out that Kool-Aid was invented in Nebraska, so we HAD to serve Kool-Aid at her farewell party!
We also capitalized on the "corn" theme of Nebraska and served lots of different flavors of popcorn, and even had a cornhole game set up for people to play!

Gavin was also excited to go to Morgan High's Prom this weekend too!
After learning that some cute Morgan girls didn't get asked to their own prom, Gavin a nd 3 other friends from Riverton went and treated these girls to their own prom! I was so proud of Gavin and his friends for being so kind, and for being such good sports!
They went to Kneaders for breakfast, and then went to the Get Out Games Escape Rooms!
After that , the Morgan girls went home, and so did Gavin and his friends. But only long enough to take a quick nap, and then head up to Morgan for the rest of the date!
Gavin's date was Addie Boyer, and she was so cute! I think they had a great time together!
The Riverton boys (Gavin, Ashton, Jaxon, and Sam) all went to pick up their dates, then went to take pictures in Ogden on top of a parking garage, then dinner at Hug Hes.
They danced the night away at the Foundry for the prom. Gavin loved that they even had an Italian Soda bar at the dance. ;)
After the dance they all went to Avery's house and played games until the night had to come to an end. All the boys took their dates home, said goodbye, and then drove to Grandpa Trickett's home to sleepover so they wouldn't have to drive back home so late.
All in all, it was a happy, busy, fun, and exciting weekend!!
Kesslyn and I actually jumped on the airplane on Sunday and made it to Hawaii to visit Kierra and her family too! Let the fun begin AGAIN!
