The last 2 days have been a little bit of heaven!
We had Kierra here for a short visit and got to enjoy some fun girl time together!
Riley is in the middle of finals, but Kierra is done with school and had a week long break from her nanny job, so we thought it was the perfect opportunity for some girl time...and it was!!!
After picking her up from the airport, we went out to breakfast, and then shopping at City Creek. :)
We stopped in at Clint's work and took him to a quick lunch, and then headed home to surprise the kids.
Boy were they surprised!!! ;)
We sat around and talked and played in the yard...
...doing headstands and tricks for each other...
...and laughing so hard that we thought our heads would explode!!! ;) ;)
We had dinner and watched the Jazz game and Survivor and enjoyed every single minute of the day. :)
The next morning, after getting all of the kids off to school, Kierra and I went for a long walk at the Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point enjoying the Tulip Festival, and most of all...great company and conversation. :)
We enjoyed the Secret Garden and the Light of the World Garden...
...and beautiful scenery and flowers everywhere!
We talked a lot about life and goals and plans and the gospel and once again came to the realization of how blessed we really are, AND that we really do have the BEST family EVER!!!
When it was time to pick up Kesslyn from preschool, we went and got her and then went home and had a picnic lunch outside. It was a beautiful afternoon so we sat in our swim suits and started working on our tans, and believe me...we need a LOT of work!!! ;)
After more talking, playing, and being together, we finally packed up Kierra's things and headed to Kambriella's basketball games where Kierra got to see her little sister in action! It made everyone happy to see...;)
We left the game and headed to the airport to drop Kierra off with a Subway sandwich and lots and lots of hugs...but guess what??? Her and Riley will be back again next week!
YAY for us!!! We LOVE our family!!!
