Gavin On the JAZZ Court and Kesslyn's 1st Game!

On Tuesday night Gavin had the opportunity of a lifetime...to live out every young boy's sports dream...
To play basketball on the home floor arena of the UTAH  JAZZ!!! (I just love that the camera man made it into this photo! It feels so "official!" ;) You kind of have to play "Where's Waldo" to find him in the pictures though...In the 1st one he's almost smack dab in the middle. (Black uniform with white undershirt.)
Then, in the 2nd picture, you can find Gavin dribbling the ball ready to take it down the court! He's doing one of the things he's great at, retrieving the rebound and ready to go make a move!!! In the 3rd picture below, Gavin is "pistols ready" to defend.
AWESOME game Gavin!
Although it was a very short scrimmage that they got to play in before the actual JAZZ game began, they had SO much fun warming up on the court, feeling like superstars, and knowing that they were actually playing where the JAZZ play!
Knowing that Gavin was having this opportunity, we made sure to get tickets for the whole family to this game! It was SO FUN!!! :)
Since we only have 2 seats with our season tickets, we had to split up and fill those plus 4 more.
I was the lucky one that got to sit by Kesslyn which was such a treat since it was her very 1st JAZZ game ever! :)
She was so good and sat pretty well for a little 2 year old! We sat next to other players on Gavin's team, had Chik-fil-A, and of course Dippin' Dots!
Kesslyn also snagged from Gavin a piece of the pizza that the coach bought for the boys on the team...;)
I think her favorite part was seeing the JAZZ Bear, AND playing with the cute girls that were sitting behind us! They gave her licorice and played with her...she somehow always seems to become the center of the attention...but hey! Just look at that face!!! ;)  ;)  ;)
Kambriella also had a ball sitting next to one of her good friends Tucker! (And by the way, I'm pretty sure that Tucker's scream sounds more like a girl than Kambriella's!!! ;)  ;)  ;)
At about the last 45 seconds of the game (since it was a close one) I decided to head down the stairs with Kesslyn so that I wouldn't have to fight the crowd with her. We stood there at the portal watching the last few seconds and Kesslyn was so full of energy (WAAAYY past her bedtime!!!) that she just kept on doing tricks all over the place and providing free entertainment for everyone who would pass her! Honestly, it was so fun being with her, but for sure she needs to be a little older before she becomes as a "regular" with her dad to the games. She loved it, we all had a great time, and my sweet little buddy Gavin fulfilled a dream...It was a win-win-win! (Except for the JAZZ who barely lost in the end.) Oh well, you can't win 'em all, right??
