Here are a few of the pictures I took of "Luke Skywalker" and Yoda...;) as they visited our house over the weekend. ;)
They are not only great sidekicks, but also BFF's! ;)
But seriously...Dallin and I took these pictures on Sunday and worked on making these lovely posters for Dallin to run for the 10th grade student body officer! I think they turned out awesome!!!
(But that's not hard to do when you're working with Dallin! ;)
Probably the hardest thing about this whole situation is that this falls at the exact same time as the auditions for the MDT (Music, Dance, Theater) class at the high school! Dallin really wants to make MDT, but also loves the student leadership role...and the thing is, you can't do both, but when the runnings both fall at the same time, if you want to do either, then you HAVE to try out for both! BUT...you can't officially DO both, which means if Dallin makes one, he would have to drop the other! Sooo...that's why Dallin is doing his best to prepare for either, and then will accept whatever comes his way. :)
The singing portion of the MDT auditions were yesterday, and the dancing part is today. Campaigning for SBO is all this week and IF Dallin were to not make MDT and continue forward with SBO, then the speeches AND voting for that would be next Monday, March 26th! Yep! ON Dallin's Birthday!!!
Crazy!!! :)
It will be so fun to see what comes of all of this...no matter what though, I am so proud of Dallin for having the positive attitude that he does. He has already told me that he will be fine with whatever he ends up doing because he knows that ultimately he will BE wherever it is that Heavenly Father needs him to be...
and he's right! I can't wait to see what Heavenly Father has in store...even if it's not either of these things...Dallin is a leader wherever he goes! Good luck in all of it Dallin!!! YOU are amazing! XOXOXO
Also...here is the boys photo for #JRTREADY...
"I will get ready by preparing for Family Home Evening...and don't forget the treat!"
It's so sweet how contagious all of this goodness is too...the girls want to be #JRTREADY too! :)
Also, Kambriella taught our lesson last night with her symbols of Easter in an Easter egg hunt. It was such a great reminder of that love of our Savior in His priceless gift of the Atonement and Resurrection...
Everyone loved it, ESPECIALLY Kesslyn! :)
